The theory of singular symplectic and Poisson manifolds is an active research area, which has practical motivations on a number of fields. Among them, we have relevant examples in celestial mechanics and astrodynamics, whose Hamiltonian formulation fall under this category. In this talk, we briefly review some remarkable examples in the literature and present three new examples.
